Marcus Anghel is the owner of Anghel Restorations in Scottsdale, Arizona. During his youth, growing up in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Marcus developed a passion for muscle cars of all kinds but especially Mustangs. He has many fond memories of seeing true muscle cars built with style, built with metal, and built with for a purpose; at the local Dairy Queen or cruising the streets on Saturday nights.
After moving to New Jersey for a few years, Marcus realized that a warm weather climate was more to his liking and he moved to Arizona. The southwest US is particularly well suited for vintage car restoration with access to clean rust free sheet metal, suspension parts, and chrome.
With the resources at hand and though accumulated experience, Marcus provides some of the best possible concours restoration services available to the hobby. His projects have included some of the best Shelby’s, Boss Mustangs, and CobraJets where there is a focus on originality by the car owner, admirers, and judges.
Marcus is currently the head national judge for the Shelby Club of America for the 69-70 Boss cars and also a gold card judge for the Mustang Club of America. He has written numerous articles for various publications including MCA Mustang Times, Mustang Monthly, Mustang Club of Germany and Mustang Club of Sweden. He has also appeared on numerous television broadcasts including Barrett-Jackson auction coverage, “What’s My Car Worth”, and “Jay Leno’s Garage", and Podcasts such as CarCast, CarsYeah and “Ford Mustang the Early Years”.
